The Bible says that we have been buried with Christ in baptism and raised to walk in newness of life. When you are baptized, you are identifying yourself with Christ in his death and resurrection. Baptism symbolizes the death of your old self and of being raised up a new person, a brand new creation in Christ able to live in a new way—one that pleases God.\n\n
