New Heart Update
June 15, 2011
Dear Family and Friends,
It’s been awhile since I’ve sent anything out for you. I feel like a bad Pastor in a way. My paradigm is of the “good” Pastor who sends out wise and inspirational thoughts on a weekly basis to his body. Well, I’ve worked all of that through and will continue to send updates as I’m lead. The reason for this is that I don’t believe in sending things out . . . just to send things out. As the Lord puts a message on my heart to share or as we have some exciting events happening, I’ll drop a note your way. Thanks for being interested.
Thanks for being a part of the New Heart journey in whatever way you choose. Some of you just like to know what’s going on. Some of you attend our ministries regularly and invest your time, skill and resources to help us help others find freedom in Christ. Still others of you live far away and value being “in the know” and partnering with us through prayer. Thanks for that.
This Sunday is Father’s Day. Every Sunday, I look forward to the opportunity that we have to gather corporately. I’m particularly excited about this Sunday because it is Father’s Day and because we’re going to be hearing from a few dads. I hope you’ll come and join us. This gathering isn’t just for dads however. It’s for all of us. Plus, I know dads could use a little cheering on in their role.
I also want to tell you about a work day we’re having this Saturday on our church property. What a great opportunity to see our property, walk on it, pray over it and prepare it. Below is a note from Al Maurer who is organizing our work day. It should be a great day. . . with all of the wonderful weather we’ve been having.

From Al. . .
We are looking for a few good men or women to help clean up the church property. This will fairly light duty and many hands make short work. We will be cleaning the curb areas of our church property and a little mowing.. This will be a great time to get together with your friends for some fellowship while completing a needed task..
We do need some equipment:
1. Gas powered weed trimmer
2. Gas powered edger.
3. Flat shovels
4.Large push broom..
We plan to meet at the church property at 9:30 and will be done by 11:30. Mark and Laurie Davis are providing hotdogs and watermelon for lunch afterwards so it is fairly important we have a head count. Please call me Al Maurer at 707 845 6190 if you plan on making it, or if you have a piece of equipment you can loan out for the job or if you need to know where our property is located.
Thank you once again for all your help.. I'm looking forward to some wonderful fellowship with other New Heart men.. Have a very blessed day.. Al
See you on the weekend,
Neil
